Conducting Body – NTA (National Testing Agency)

 

              Exam consists of two parts :-

1.      JEE MAINS

ELIGIBLITY : -

Educational:- 12^th appearing or passed with (PCM) Science steam

Age :- No age limit

Number of attempts :- 2 times in a year.

 

2.      JEE ADVANCE

ELIGIBLITY :-

Educational:- 12^th passed with 80% (General, OBC, EWS) and 75% (SC, ST, PWD)

(may change in some cases otherwise same)

Number of attempts :- Once in a year who have cleared JEE MAINS successfully.

 

Reservation :-

1.      EWS – 10%

2.      OBC NCL – 27%

3.      SC -15%

4.      ST – 7.5%

5.      GENERAL (open for all) – 32.87%

6.      PWD – 5% (in each category)

 

SELECTION PROCESS : -

JEE MAINS --- JEE ADVANCE --- COUNCELLING --- SEAT ALLOTMENT

 

Total Number of Seats :- 11,300 (may vary year wise)

 

Exam Month :- 1) APRIL

                          2) SEPTEMBER (for JEE MAINS)

 

JEE ADVANCE :- MAY – JUNE
